This site is run by Gratitude Driven LLC, the business of Marina Wyss. This page explains what information is collected when you use marinawyss.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: there are no accounts here, no data is sold, and the only information collected is what is needed to run the site and the services linked from it.
Information collected
Information you give directly. This site has no login and no forms of its own. If you subscribe to the newsletter, join a waitlist, book a call, fill in a speaking inquiry form, or email me, you share your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to include. That information is used only to respond to you and provide what you asked for.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses analytics that record pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, referring site, and campaign parameters from the link you arrived on. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
Analytics and attribution
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use it, and SegMetrics to tie marketing campaigns to newsletter signups, bookings, and purchases. Both use cookies and similar identifiers. Campaign parameters such as utm_source are also kept in your browser's session storage and passed along when you click through to a booking or checkout page, so the source of a visit is not lost.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, and when you use them their own privacy policies apply:
Beehiiv hosts the newsletter and waitlist signup forms and sends the emails. Calendly handles call bookings. Google Forms collects speaking inquiries. Senja displays testimonials. YouTube provides embedded videos, served in privacy-enhanced mode so YouTube does not set cookies until you press play. The Build Cohort, AI/ML Career Launchpad and the Store are hosted on separate platforms with their own policies.
I do not sell personal information and do not share it with anyone except the service providers above, who process it on my behalf.
If you subscribe to the newsletter you will receive weekly emails and occasional announcements about programs, talks, and products. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. I also see standard email metrics such as opens and clicks, which help me understand what readers find useful.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information held about you, or to object to how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, email info@gratitudedriven.com and I will respond within 30 days. Requests about newsletter data may be passed on to Beehiiv to carry out.
Data retention and security
Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the default settings of Google Analytics and SegMetrics. Booking and inquiry details are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and keep business records. Reasonable technical measures protect this information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and no information is knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email me and it will be deleted.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed, and significant changes will be announced in the newsletter.
